Pendant Lights for Allentown Apartments

Modern-Glass-Pendant-LightsSearching for lamps and great lighting for Allentown apartments can be fun…and confusing at times. One of the most popular light fixtures today is the pendant light. More and more Allentown apartments feature pendant lamps because of the their unique beauty, along with the generous luminescence they provide.

Pendant-Lighting-PhotoPendant lights are great and can be hung at whatever height a tenant wishes in Allentown apartments.

favorite-things-pendant-lightsPendant lights come in many shapes, sizes and colors. But this example shows how unique and creative a clear glass pendant lamp can be in Allentown apartments.

White and Ivory Decor

With our brief little snow attack yesterday evening, the whiteness abounds this morn along my Pa terrain, and thus I feel inspired by the colors that seam together: the white of fresh untainted snow and the hint of soft ivory underneath.  Love this interior by Benjamin Dhong which expresses this color combination beautifully. Image via my friends at Design Nest Studio. This was their featured interior of the day. As noted, take a peek at the legs of that stool!

Love the style of this white and ivory bed. The dark wall contrast is lovely. These images and the next via Decor Pad.

Mediterranean Design for Your Apartment

Mediterranean kitchen via Home Base Design

Known to have started in the south of Italy, Spain and Greece, the romantic and relaxed style of Mediterranean Design can be a fantastic option for your apartment.  I love the rustic feel, textured walls, and deep rich soulful colors. This design style is found mainly in coastal regions, but has overwhelming popularity in all regions of the world.

Just imagine a toe in these deep turquoise waters…ahhhh (I need this today since it’s gloomy and rainy here). Click photo for flickr link.

The main color choices of Mediterranean decor are often earthy with depth and vibrancy.  Oranges, deep reds and deep yellows, lavender and aubergine, along with rich dark forest greens. The wood is often rustic and iron work is another design option. A favorite is a very white room with dark wood and iron elements.
